SPRING HAS SPRUNG! MLB BREAKS THE ICE AS TEAMS ANNOUNCE SPRING TRAINING SCHEDULES

Now that the MLB and MLBPA finally came to a decision on COVID-19 protocols on February 9th teams were able to release their upcoming Pitcher & Catcher report days, and their projected first Full Squad Workout. Spring Training games look to kickoff the weekend of February 27th, with as of right now only one unknown floating about for fans of the game. That being, that not all teams have released ticket info, with the few teams that have, noting that social distancing, and mask protocols are still to be followed, it is still unknown what the remaining stadiums and teams plan to do.

With so many qualified, veteran free agents out there, it's hard to think that the MLB Opening Day is still projecting an April 1st date. This large amount of free agents usually will have signed the week prior to Pitchers and Catchers reporting. However, with the late COVID-19 plan of action agreement, many are left to believe that these veteran free agents will opt to wait until late Spring Training and sign with teams before the season begins on April 1st, just in time to pass the COVID-19 restrictions in place. What will this mean going through the early parts of the season? No one really knows, but you could reasonably expect some rust on some of these guys if they don't sign with a team early enough to get some reps in before the season begins.

No surprise here! As the Dodgers are coming off another World Series title, they're sitting as the odds-on favorite to repeat (+350), and with additions like Trevor Bauer coming into the team this off-season it make sense why. Not to be outdone, the NL West rival Padres (+800) made tons of noise this off-season as well bolstering their starting rotation and strengthening an already terrifying lineup, Vegas has the Padres sitting as the 3rd likeliest team to win the World Series with the Yankees (+550) at 2nd, White Sox (+850) 4th, and the Braves and Mets tied at 5th (+1000).

Here's your look at the Spring Training report dates for all 30 MLB Teams (Note: Spring Training league noted with either a C for Cactus or G for Grapefruit):
